ABOUT THE MINOR

This minor is designed for students who wish to develop practical and theoretical competencies in providing support during mental health crises and other critical life situations, within Christian pastoral contexts.

The minor integrates principles of Christian counseling and pastoral care, emphasizing the role of faith, prayer, spiritual discernment, and biblical perspectives in supporting individuals facing emotional, psychological, and spiritual distress.

The program also emphasizes cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with mental health professionals and emergency services, while respecting the spiritual needs and beliefs of those being supported.

Tuition fee for the 2025/2026
academic year is  2600 EUR.

DURATION

3-year bachelor’s degree –
BA in Theology with a specialization in Pastoral Ministry or in Coaching & Mentoring
Lectures take place Tuesday through Thursday

What Can I Do When I Graduate?

You will have a good number of options to choose from:

  • Continue on to your masters’ degree in a wide variety of fields, such as: psychology, education, management, ethics, philosophy and theology.
  • Work in a church-ran counceling organisations
  • Work as a therapist in counceling offices where Christian values are respected.
  • Become an active missionary or an employee of mission organisations.
  • Become a spiritual leader or a councillor.
